6.3If you exercise this right within 14 days but have already accessed sessions or digital content, we reserve the right to deduct a pro-rata amount reflecting the portion of the service already delivered before issuing any refund.
6.4To exercise your right to cancel during the Cooling-Off Period, contact us at info@lewinparo.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request — [your name and account email]". We will confirm receipt within 24 hours.
6.5Ongoing cancellation. After the 14-day Cooling-Off Period, you may cancel at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing info@lewinparo.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. You will retain access until that date and will not be charged again thereafter.
6.6Exceptional refunds. We will consider refund requests outside the Cooling-Off Period in the following circumstances:
- (a)You have experienced a serious illness, bereavement, or life event making continued use of the Service impossible;
- (b)We have materially failed to deliver the service as described;
- (c)A technical fault caused by us prevented your use of the Service.
6.7In compliance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, we will ensure that cancellation is straightforward, available online, and confirmed in writing within 24 hours of your request.
6.8Lewin Paro will not apply any penalties, exit fees, or disproportionate conditions to cancel your subscription.
7. Price Changes
7.1We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we intend to increase the price of your existing plan, we will give you at least 30 days' advance written notice by email.
7.2If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the new price takes effect without penalty. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
7.3Price changes will not apply retrospectively to any current billing month already paid.
Part 3
Sessions & Services
8. Session Terms
8.1Booking. Sessions must be booked in advance through the Lewin Paro platform. We aim to make sessions available within 24 hours of booking for all paid plans. Availability may vary.
8.2Individual Plan Sessions (20 minutes). Two 20-minute practitioner-led sessions per calendar month. These sessions are bespoke to Lewin Paro and are not equivalent to clinical psychotherapy.
8.3Individual Plus Sessions (Unlimited). Unlimited 1:1 sessions available on the Individual Plus plan. These may be conducted by a named psychologist where the subscriber has exercised that right, subject to availability. Monthly progress reports are included.
8.4Community Plan. The Community plan does not include 1:1 sessions. It includes live group sessions with our head psychologist, access to the full resource library, and peer community features.
8.5Session allocation. Sessions for the Individual plan are allocated on a per-calendar-month basis. Unused sessions do not roll over to the following month unless otherwise stated in your plan description.
8.6Late cancellation & no-shows. Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the session being forfeited.
8.7Practitioner selection. Where a plan includes the right to select a named psychologist (Individual Plus only), this is subject to that practitioner's availability. If your preferred practitioner is unavailable, we will offer an alternative of equivalent qualification.
8.8Nature of sessions. Sessions are conducted via Kajabi video call. You are responsible for ensuring you have a suitable, private, and confidential environment in which to take part.
8.9Recordings. All sessions conducted through Lewin Paro are recorded. By booking and attending a session, you consent to this recording. Recordings are managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and are used solely for quality assurance, safeguarding, and compliance purposes. If you wish to make your own personal recording, you must inform your practitioner at the start of the session and obtain their express consent before doing so.
8.10Professional standards. All practitioners delivering sessions through Lewin Paro are required to hold appropriate qualifications and, where applicable, professional registration with a recognised body.
9. Digital Content & Resource Library
9.1All subscription plans include access to the Lewin Paro resource library ("Paro Resource Library"), comprising articles, tools, audio or video content, assessments, and other digital material.
9.2Content in the Library is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, or share Library content without our prior written consent.
9.3Library content is for general informational and wellbeing purposes only and does not constitute medical, clinical, or psychiatric advice.
9.4Access to Library content is provided as part of your active subscription. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, access will cease at the end of your billing period.

12.3In any circumstance where confidentiality must be broken, we will, wherever possible, inform you in advance and explain the reason, unless doing so would itself create a risk of harm or is prohibited by law.
12.4Our full data handling practices are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Part 9A
Data Protection & International Transfers
18A. How Your Data Flows Through Our Systems
18A.1When you complete the Lewin Paro burnout assessment or subscribe to the Service, your personal data passes through a defined sequence of processors. We operate this data flow transparently and in full compliance with UK GDPR:
YouComplete assessment
→
FormspreeForm submission & storage
→
Gmail / GoogleResults delivered to you
→
KajabiAccount & subscription
18A.2Formspree receives your name, email address, assessment responses, and a timestamped record of your consent. Formspree acts solely as a data processor on our instructions and does not use your data for its own purposes. A Data Processing Agreement is in place between Lewin Paro Ltd and Formspree Inc.
18A.3Google (Gmail/Workspace) is used to deliver your assessment results to the email address you provided. Your name, email, and result summary are passed through Google's mail infrastructure under Google's Workspace Data Processing Amendment incorporating UK Standard Contractual Clauses.
18A.4Kajabi hosts the Lewin Paro platform, manages your member account, facilitates video sessions, and processes subscription payments. Kajabi holds your name, email, subscription status, and session history. A Data Processing Agreement is in place between Lewin Paro Ltd and Kajabi Inc.
18B. Special Category (Health) Data Transfers
⚕ UK GDPR Article 9 — Sensitive Health Data
Your burnout assessment responses are classified as special category data under UK GDPR Article 9 because they relate to your mental and emotional health. This data is afforded the highest level of legal protection and is processed only with your explicit consent.
18B.1Your assessment responses are processed solely on the basis of your explicit consent, given via the dedicated Article 9 consent checkbox on the assessment form. A timestamped record of this consent is stored securely by Formspree and retained by Lewin Paro for 6 years as required for compliance purposes.
18B.2Your health data is transmitted to Formspree over an encrypted HTTPS connection and is stored at rest with AES-256 encryption. It is not transmitted in plain text at any point.
18B.3Your assessment result level (e.g. "Low Risk") is included in the results email delivered via Gmail. This constitutes a transfer of health-related data to Google's infrastructure, covered by Google's UK Standard Contractual Clauses.
18B.4Your assessment responses are not transferred to Kajabi. Only your name, email, subscription status, and account activity are held in Kajabi. Assessment response data remains within Formspree's systems only.
18B.5You may withdraw your Article 9 consent and request permanent deletion of your assessment data at any time by emailing hello@lewinparo.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
18C. International Data Transfers
18C.1Formspree, Google, Kajabi, and Stripe are based in the United States of America, which does not benefit from a UK adequacy decision under UK GDPR. All transfers are made under UK Standard Contractual Clauses (UK SCCs) pursuant to UK GDPR Article 46(2)(c) and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) framework.
18C.2Before transferring data internationally, Lewin Paro has conducted a Transfer Risk Assessment (TRA) for each processor in accordance with ICO guidance. We are satisfied that the safeguards in place provide an essentially equivalent level of protection to that afforded under UK law.
18C.3You have the right to request details of the safeguards in place for any international transfer of your personal data by contacting hello@lewinparo.com.
18D. Your UK GDPR Data Rights
18D.1Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to all personal data held about you across our processor systems (Formspree, Gmail, Kajabi):
- →Right of access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- →Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- →Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data from all systems
- →Right to withdraw consent — including Article 9 health data consent, at any time
- →Right to restrict processing — ask us to pause processing of your data
- →Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, portable format
- →Right to object — object to processing based on our legitimate interests
18D.2To exercise any of these rights, email hello@lewinparo.com. We will respond within 30 days. For complex requests we may extend this by a further 60 days and will inform you accordingly.
18D.3If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk · 0303 123 1113.
